This Balance is for the KidneyIntelX lab test your physician ordered through Renalytix, Inc. This balance reflects all payments and adjustments currently applied to your account after billing any applicable insurance plans. You may access our secure patient portal to make your payment online at [patient portal]. Should you have questions about this bill or need assistance with this balance, please call us at 844-508-9409. We have several options available to help including our no interest payment plans. thank you again for your business.
The statement you received from your insurance, often called an EOB or Explanation of benefits, usually states that “This is not a bill.” Every time our claim is reviewed by your insurance they will send an EOB or letter to advise you of their decision. We may submit multiple requests to your plan in an effort to resolve billing issues. While they may include a “You may owe” amount, that amount does not take into account other insurance plan, programs or even the specific billing policies of our office. Our bill will have our logo on top and be labelled a bill. We will only send a bill once we have resolved everything we can. Our bill should reflect more accurately your patient responsibility amount, if any, for our testing services.
Generally, insurance plans will process the claim within 30-45 days, some more quickly. We will bill you once this process is complete. Your bill may be delayed if we are billing multiple insurance carriers or need to appeal a denied claim on your behalf.
Currently we accept Visa, Discover, Mastercard or electronic checks through our web portal. You may also mail a check to the address on your statement.
Yes, Renalytix wants to make our testing accessible to all who need it. We offer interest- free payment plans up to 6 months. We also have a Financial Assistance program which may reduce your out of pocket expense for those who qualify. An application and supporting documentation is required.
Yes, we offer interest-free payment plans which will allow you to pay overtime, up to 6 months.
